Locals Automotive Repair is growing fast, with new locations opening across the Austin, Dallas, and Phoenix markets. Our goal is to keep your bay moving and your next ticket ready.

We are open Monday through Saturday. Many shops in town are closed on Saturday, making it one of the busiest, highest-flag days of our week. You work a 5-day week: Sunday is always off, your second day off is flexible, and Saturdays are an opportunity to stack hours.

We use digital inspections, a modern shop management system, and advisors who know how to present the work you find, helping turn inspections into real flagged hours. We are not a franchise—decisions are made by people who understand the shop floor.

What you'll work on

• Diagnostics and repairs across all makes and models: brakes, steering and suspension, drivability, electrical, HVAC, cooling, engine, and transmission service
• Perform thorough digital inspections with photos and detailed notes that help advisors clearly present your findings
• Document everything in the shop management system—no paper tickets
• A clean, safe bay and a professional standard

Qualifications

3+ years as a professional automotive technician

Your own tools

ASE certifications preferred; state inspection license a plus

Strong diagnostic ability: comfortable using scan tools and wiring diagrams, with the patience to find the actual fault

Valid driver's license and a dependable work record
